	Message from our Chief Jane Psssst.....it's a Secret..... To all our dear Janes! We have some exciting news to share with you..and you are the first to know! We have not yet broken the news publicly but you will see our announcement formally in the weeks ahead that Be Jane has found an amazing new home! The Be Jane website has been acquired--and it could not be with a more perfectly suited partner who is known as a true innovator in the home industry with powerful connections throughout the US. Though we cannot disclose who it is at this time, this partner is one who truly values and appreciates the new vision for women in the home space that we've been working on for many months and you will see those innovations come to life in the near future. It could not be more inspiring for our team to finally be able to bring our dream to you! For those of you loyal Janes who have borne with us through this journey, I just want to thank you for all of your support of our site and encouragement of the powerful DIY spirit that we wish to realize for all women in their homes. We are developing the definitive Home Power Portal for Women...and this is truly a game changer! As many of you know, Be Jane has gone through a few resurrections; I came into Be Jane to save it with a financial turnaround, new partners and a new vision nearly two years ago. We worked with founder and Mommy Jane, Heidi Baker and brought in new DIY experts, Crafty Jane, Tracy Metro, and Social Style Jane, Allana Baroni, and visualized with our marketing guru, Elesia Kreinces, and our fabulous Content Director, Shanna Rosen, an entirely new site and vision for the future which you will see soon. And now at last, we have been able to find the perfect home for Be Jane with a new family of sites to help us launch that vision and finally see all of this innovative hard work come to life! Habitat for Humanity event hosted at Lowe's As you may know, our vision not only encourages women to take charge in their lives by showing them how to create inspirational projects in their homes, but we also want to inspire you Janes to take that inner fire and make a difference in the world! And that's the inspiration for the halo of homes in our new logo! I have to tell you that I was so fired up this past weekend that I grabbed my pink Be Jane tool belt and helped participate in a Habitat for Humanity groundbreaking event for 24 new homes in which nearly 1000 volunteers participated! The energy at this event was electric and the great thing is that everyone can join in -just grab that hammer, gals, and help create a home for a family! It is incredibly heartwarming to help give families who really need an extra hand a way to own their own home and help them build some stability in their lives. A home is truly a gift of the heart. And another organization that I want to ensure that all of our Janes are aware of and that I encourage all women to join in to support is Cancer Schmancer with its brilliant mission to ensure an early diagnosis of cancer in women as ultimately securing your health is the first step to securing a meaningful life. It was founded by my dear friend, Fran Drescher, who really is a doll and a cancer survivor who made a true impact in the world and you can learn more about it at www.cancerschmancer.org. And if you haven't yet heard about philanthropist Cheryl Saban's new book, *What is Your Self-Worth?, that promotes female empowerment and validates women everywhere, I would encourage it as a must-read for our Janes. Well, that's the buzz, Janes; I just wanted to give you all the news that Be Jane is in wonderful hands and we thought it would be cool to share our secret in advance with you before we let the world in on it....
